Frankincense Essential Oil

Frankincense Essential Oil is extracted from the Boswellia sacra tree and developed from the resin which comes from these trees. The Boswellia Sacra is native to Ethiopia, northern Somalia, south-western Oman, and southern Yemen. Records of Frankincense being used goes back to ancient Egypt and is mentioned in the Bible. This ancient essential has an earthy aromatic scent, with notes of pine, citrus and spice. It is similar to Rosemary.

Frankincense Essential Oil can be used in diffusers or massage oils to promote relaxation, focus and a feeling of luxury. Frankincense can also be used as a disinfectant and antiseptic and has been used with Myrhh for this purpose for hundreds of years.
