Marjoram (Spanish) Essential Oil is also known as Mastic Thyme Essential Oil. It is a thin colourless oil extracted from the leaves and flowering tops of Thymus Mastichina by steam distillation. Spanish Marjoram grows in the wild throughout the Mediterranean, as well as being cultivated in Spain. Traditionally used in infusions for winter health issues, its appearance it is more like Thyme than Marjoram, coming from a different species than Sweet Marjoram. It has a strong herbal scent.
