Marjoram Sweet Essential Oil

Marjoram Sweet Essential Oil is extracted from the leaves and flower buds of the Sweet Marjoram plant (Origanum majorana). Marjoram sweet has a subtle floral scent with a profile filled with herb, wood and sweet notes. Marjoram Sweet also has nicknames including “wintersweet” or “joy of the mountains” and has cultural importance dating back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. Marjoram Sweet essential oil combines well with other scents including citrus, herbs such as rosemary, cypress and clary sage, as well as florals including lavender.

Marjoram Sweet essential oil is often used in aromatherapy, with it’s warming and soothing properties, to bring relief to joint and muscle conditions. Add a few drops of Marjoram Sweet to a diffuser to aid in relaxation, or to help with sleep.
